Bach flower therapy
Practioner: Mercy Turner
Cost: £50 for 60 minutes
The Bach Flower Remedies are a range of flower essences developed in the 1930s by Dr Edward Bach, a British doctor who wanted to provide a system for healing the mental and spiritual anguish at the root of ill health and unhappiness. Each of the 38 pure and gentle remedies, made from flowers, the most potent part of plants, is directed at a particular characteristic or emotional state, and the objective of treatment is to bring you into the positive aspect of your personality.
The remedies can help you deal with:
- difficult situations
- poor self-esteem
- deep despair
- inability to cope with life
- feeling bullied
- times of change
to name just a few emotions.
If you have used Rescue Remedy, a blend of five of the Bach Flower Remedies, and found it helpful maybe the 38 other remedies may also be of use to you.
As a Bach Flower practitioner Mercy’s job is to hold a space for you to express your situation and then to help you understand how the remedies can assist you in the process of self-healing, health and inner freedom. You choose the remedies with her, so you have the remedy when you leave the consultation. The remedies can be used by both children and adults: www.bachcentre.com/centre/remedies.htm
Mercy is trained and fully insured with the Bach Centre.
