I am a humanistic/person-centred counsellor providing therapy for people of any age and specialising in loss, grief and bereavement, depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, stress and low self-esteem.
I aim to offer the opportunity for you to manage the psychological and emotional problems of everyday life, to help you understand and change irrational thoughts, beliefs and actions. You will always be treated with respect and integrity within a confidential therapeutic relationship. I'm a firm believer that people are free agents and have control over their choices and actions, and that an individual's free will enables their potential.
As a counsellor I feel the important things regarding my clients are:
- good communication skills
- problem solving (in relationships, work and so on)
- rapport-building skills
- and self-awareness
My family encourage me to always move forward, be myself. I'm a firm believer in taking risks and learning from success and otherwise. This year, 2020 ,has made me realise the importance of being available to family, friends and my clients.
