Fundamental movement course of 4 classes (25 February, 3, 10 and 17 March, 6.30-7.30pm)
I qualified as an osteopath almost 20 years ago and have been practising around the world ever since, until recently when I closed my clinic doors to focus on other projects.
Believing in a holistic approach to treatment and always in search of ways to enhance the outcome for my patients I became a certified health coach with a focus on habits and stress reduction, in relation to food and exercise in particular.
Having danced since I was knee high to a grasshopper, movement is also a big priority for me – I firmly believe that movement is medicine for the body. In a time when we are all becoming far more sedentary and much more stressed my aim has become to teach busy people to find moments throughout their day to move, breathe and find calm, reducing stress and increasing health and well-being.
As well as my movement classes at The Hub I offer movement classes, meditation and mindfulness courses, private coaching and 1:1 movement therapy, and am a freelance health writer. When I’m not tapping away at my computer you’ll find me with my nose in a large pile of cookery books or stomping across the forest with my trusty labrador Basil!
