Hannah Bimpson came to teaching yoga from a background as a professional dancer.
‘I have always been very passionate about health and fitness, starting when I was three years old and decided I wanted to become a dancer. I spent the next 15 years dedicating my life to my dance and theatre training, including three years of professional training at one of London’s top musical theatre colleges.
‘Yoga has always been something that goes hand in hand with dance but my real love for it began around four years ago when I began taking regular classes. I soon knew it was something I wanted to teach and began working towards my teacher training.
‘I want to be able to help people feel happy, healthy and proud of their bodies, especially, but not exclusively, new mums who may have lost self-confidence after having a baby. It’s a very special thing to be able to watch and help people grow, not only with their practice but also within themselves.’
Hannah is a 200-hour Yoga Alliance-registered teacher, in traditional hatha yoga, from the AyurYoga EcoAshram in Mysore, India.
