woman repeating a mantra to herself in meditation

Mantras are a crucial thread in the fabric of life for the therapists at The Hub. Used as a motivational chant, or a phrase to aid concentration in meditation, or just plain to keep us sane right now, we repeat mantras (or affirmations) to ourselves to keep calm and on song. Here is one that our yoga instructor Shelley Edwards has come back to again and again in her Zoom classes throughout the past few months. It certainly resonates with this crazy year we’re having!

May I be safe

May I be healthy

May I be happy

May I live my life with ease

Repeat it to yourself – silently or out loud – as often as you need to stay balanced, calm and grounded.
