What determines whether a diet or new exercise regime is successful and lasting? In a 2008 study when researchers focused on 34 people who’d either lost weight and kept it off or quit smoking, and tried to determine what the common factors were in their success, they found that in most cases ‘their sustained behaviour change had been triggered by a significant life crisis relating to their health, relationships or salient milestones.’

At The Hub we are great believers in looking at a crisis as an opportunity for change. Several of our therapists came to their work after a health crisis or setback in their lives like divorce. And you couldn’t get a deeper, more significant ‘life crisis’ than the Covid-19 pandemic… Collectively we’ve all been put through the wringer. So collectively this is the opportunity to make changes.  Make Covid-19 your wake-up call to improve your health and lifestyle!
