Cost: £10 per hour

Tai chi is a system of exercise that is gentle, yet very beneficial to emotional and physical well-being and helps with balance and co-ordination. Stretching exercises, along with breathing, help to lower blood pressure and calm the mind.

My tai chi teacher is Tew Bunnag. The form we teach is Yang style, offering tuition in 24-step short form, 108-step long form and fan form, Chen Man Ch’ing style. Tew’s heritage is from Thailand, following the Theravada tradition of Buddhism.
